About Me:

I attended my first yoga class over 10 years ago, it has been hugely beneficial to me on a holistic level. I trained with  Mark Freeth of Freestyle Yoga Project , Royal Tunbridge Wells  and completed their 200 hour Teacher Training program which is accredited with Yoga Alliance in October 2017.  I have also  completed a Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with Anna Ashby and Chris Swain at Triyoga London in 2019. I believe in the transformational effect of yoga on the mind, body and soul.

Smooth Vinyasa flow is my favourite practice where we move from posture to posture marrying movement with breath. Movements are smooth and continuous which keeps the mind focused; in essence it is a meditation in movement.

"Its not about being good at something.
Its about being good to yourself."

The flexibility in Vinyasa sequences ensures no routine is ever the same, so both body and mind are constantly challenged. It can be relaxed or physically challenging but it will improve your focus, strength, flexibility and balance. The continuous sequencing of postures ensures a cardio and strength challenge. Classes can be specifically tailored for beginners with modifications to challenge more experienced practitioners. Small class sizes are an excellent way to learn foundational skills for a more advanced practice.

Flexibility, balance, coordination and agility will all improve through Vinyasa yoga which will enhance all other physical activities you participate in. It is a fluid, smooth, flowing dance- like practice which delivers inner stillness and calm. Subtle, almost imperceptible improvements occur every time you do yoga which will encourage dedication.

Detailed guidance on each posture coupled with props (blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets) alignment tips and substantial modifications will enable you to achieve your expression of each pose. The variation in Vinyasa yoga not only prevents boredom it also prevents repetitive motion injuries which occur from most sports. Vinyasa is about harmony and balance, grace and fluidity. Yoga is a healing, rejuvenating and empowering discipline.
